Associate/Associate Vice President, Legal

Purpose 

Assist in handling all legal aspects of leasing division and providing guidelines and legal advice.

Responsibilities

1. Review, draft and negotiate all contracts and documents related to the assigned leasing transaction.

2. Conduct legal research to evaluate different risk factors and prepare the outline of its procedures.

3. Coordinate all matters to the board of directors and the general assembly.

4. Provide assistance and consultations as needed on legal matters to all Leasing functions.

5. Represent the firm in front of governmental authorities and finalize all legal procedures and/or pending issues.

6. Follow-up on the real estate registration process and ensure full control on leased assets. 

7. Handle and monitor the progression of outstanding litigation and update the senior team members.

Job Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in Law.

2. A minimum of 5 years' experience preferably in leasing firms.

3. Strong drafting skills (i.e. comfortable drafting legal documents in both English & Arabic). 

4. Strong negotiating skills.

5. Strong presentation skills.

6. Able to analyse situations and information.

7. Excellent command of Arabic and English.

8. Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and listening).

9. Ability to build partnerships and work well in teams.

10. Can generate creative solutions and has the courage to make necessary decisions.

11. Has his/her own elevated performance standards and ensures both he/she and the team produce high quality work.
