مطلوب (Fresh Accountant)
job Description
The purpose of the Accountant role is responsible for tasks related to month and quarter end close for the region, Key responsibilities include:
Preparing and posting journal entries on to the organisations system (XERO) his includes prepayment, accruals, provisions, salaries, Captain's payments etc
Issuing purchase orders for local suppliers and credit notes for local corporate customers as well as allocating the receivables to the right invoice and customer
Preparing and sending out statement of account for corporate customers
Manage petty cash requests and reconciling the petty cash to receipts received
Maintain all financial documents and records such as licenses and agreements
Providing financial support to the local GM and central finance team
Ensuring all bank related transactions are uploaded into Xero and posted on a daily basis
Preparing the bank reconciliation on a weekly basis after booking all payments and receipts
