Senior Relationship Manager - Corporate & Investment Banking

Job Purpose:
the job holder is responsible for managing and growing large account portfolios and the client relationships for assigned portfolio, improving service quality levels and supervising the subordinates' day-to-day activities and client interactions to ensure that the team's objectives are constantly met and its revenue targets achieved, while maintaining client satisfaction and portfolio credit quality.

Client targets: portfolio of multinational corporate clients ( Borrowing & Non Borrowing)


Job Responsibilities:

Client and Market Analysis

Participate in the financial analysis conducted on clients and their respective industries/ markets to identify potential opportunities and risks.

Client Relationship Management

Originate new business opportunities with target clients across banking products

Originate & cross sell banking products to achieve budget & business objectives of the team and bank

Collaborate with GAMS / FAMS with regards to business enquiries or opportunities related to IBG corporates

Develop Term Sheet, Information Memorandum, financial modelling, mandate letter….etc.;

Examine & resolve credit, market and operational risk aspects of the transactions in collaboration with products and enablement units.

Update relevant management levels of business lines, head office and relevant product partners on client's business development, credit evolution and answer to their queries.

Pitch, review, negotiate and conclude deals.

Motivate, Develop and Coach team members.

Maintain the credit quality of the clients relationships within the Portfolio to an acceptable level set by the Bank's management

Achieve individual and team financial performance targets.

Ensure Account Plans are prepared and maintained for all key clients.

Ensure all clients' files /documents are maintained.

Ensure all credit reviews are submitted on time and agreed conditions are met.

Ensure all credit risk inquiries from local and head office credit are satisfied

Adhere to process KPI's and, ORM, BCP & Internal Audit requirements

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements


Day-to-Day Activities

Assist the Unit Head in the day-to-day administrative and transactional activities such as client calls, documentation follow up, updating pipeline, and any other activities in the unit/team to ensure continuity of work and the delivery of effective and high quality outputs.
Manage and follow up on KYC and compliance requirements in order to ensure consistency with the Bank's KYC and AML policies and regulatory requirements.
Coach credit Analyst, RM, client servicing in credit and documentation issues
Ensure smooth coordination& good working relationship with product lines , credit , legal and other business units
Assist answering of inquiries from external regulatory bodies( internal auditing , CBE

Policies, Systems, Processes, and Procedures

Follow all relevant policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
MIS and Reports
Assist in the preparation of timely and accurate statements and reports to meet the unit's requirements, policies, and standards.


Minimum Experience

10 years of experience in corporate banking or a similar area at least 6years in Corporate Banking

Minimum Qualification

Bachelor's degree in Finance or related discipline. While Master's degree in Business Administration / CFA is preferred.

Credit Course is a must

Experience in relationship management with large corporates / MNCs

Fluent in spoken and written English

Good Knowledge in Corporate Finance, strategic and value added products, GM , Trade & Cash Management

Good sense of cross selling.

Good comprehension, presentation & interpersonal skills

Good knowledge & understanding of CBE regulations

  • Money Laundering Awareness Certificate held
  • Knowledge of Financial Services Act (FSA) and Consumer Credit Act (CCA) implications

Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge:
  • Qualified Mechanical Engineer with strong leadership, good communication skills and Hands-on Experience in Maintenance of mechanical Installations.
  • Ability to work under pressure and flexibility to work long hours, if situation demands.
  • Experience in handling emergency cases and conduct communications in a calm manner.
  • The ability to well perform under stress.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative and diverse team environment.

Technical Authority for Electrical Engineering
Job Description
Scope:
  • As a key member of the engineering team, lead & be accountable for all electrical engineering activities for the WDDM Facilities;
  • Provide support to the engineering team on all electrical engineering related aspects.


Key Accountabilities:
  • The Joint Venture's Technical Authority for Electrical Engineering; working as the technical focal point for the electrical engineering discipline in terms of technical assurance for operations and projects;
  • Review and approve engineering deliverables, equipment selection, requisitions, procurement assistance, vendor selection and management, Inspections (FAT), constructability review, spares rationalization and documentations;
  • Knowledge of electrical engineering principles, rationalization, practices and techniques; Familiarity with international codes and standards such as API, ISO, NEMA, IEC;
  • Knowledge of electrical equipment such as motors, transformers, process gas compressors, gas turbines, diesel engine generators, power distribution systems, HV, MV and LV transmission system, switch gear, MCC, Electrical protective relays, earthing system, Ex-rated equipment etc.
  • Provide leadership to the Electrical engineering team; Develop / Management of all Electrical Engineering and construction scopes; planning & execution of construction scopes.
  • Identify and lead HSSE improvements; Participate in HAZIDs, HAZOPs, SIL and other HSE related reviews;
  • Work closely with other Asset Technical Authority (ATA) to issue, maintain and update main engineering documents such as (single line diagrams, hazardous area drawings, load list, P&IDs, etc.);
  • Management of interfaces with engineering contractor, construction contractor and company Operations team; management of Site Engineering Queries.
  • Responsible of assuring the company Management of Change (MOC) process is rigorously followed for the Electrical scope;
  • Ensure compliance with project execution plans in the fields of Electrical engineering design, procurement and records management.
  • Technical input to construction engineering & commissioning and start-up requirements
  • Provide coaching and mentoring for the electrical engineers and graduates in the engineering/operations departments and providing training and development plans.
Authority for Change:
  • Provides inputs/advises on electrical engineering aspects on Change management documents required to initiate changes related to the plant;
  • Is able to influence change to existing policies and practices with regard to plant operations based on electrical engineering studies.
