Manager, Brand Management and Public Relations (Communications & External relations)
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Support the development and implementation of the Bank's communications strategy and plan, ensuring integration with the Bank's Strategic Plan and Annual Business Plans. As part of this process, the job holder gives particular focus to the digital strategy, combining social media engagement with on and offline promotion of the Bank's activities and achievements;
  • Translate brand strategies into brand plans, brand positioning and go-to-market strategies;
  • Develop brand standards and usage guidelines, including supervising brand content and managing access to brand assets;
  • Conceptualize strategic initiatives and implement details of campaign, ensuring integration with brand consistency;
  • Execute strategies with cross-functional teams, working closely with relevant Bank departments on product marketing materials as they relate to branding to align around the Bank's brand direction, choices and tactics;
  • Manage external marketing partners such as advertising agencies, digital marketing firms and production companies;
  • Track client and market insights by reviewing metrics, such as transactions and market share, and by conducting consumer research, and analyze data to update brand portfolio;
  • Write reports, specifications and creative briefs;
  • Measure and report performance of campaigns and assess against goals;
  • Anticipate bottlenecks

Accounts Payable Officer

Main Duties:

  Validate invoices, check documentation and compliance with procurement policy; validate vendors' forms and follow up on rejections.
  Support procurement team and insure no purchase orders are open more than 30 days; and all invoices comply with the procurement policy.
  Scan and Save Invoices.
  Follow up on Blocked Invoices and take the necessary actions to clear.
  Handle all payments rejected by bank and verify vendors' bank details and follow up on the necessary corrections.
  Monitor the vendor line items, late payments, double payments.
  Handle and settling the staff operational advances.
  Maintain an up to date list of all TEX cards & P-cards in country and keep the buffer clear on SAP.
  Post processed off -line payment vouchers on SAP accurately and on a timely manner.
  Follow up on late Travel & Expense envelops and support staff to clear their accounts on SAP.
  Managing the travel claims filling and logging process.
  Process Teaching Center refunds.
  Validate and Post journals within Finance Department.
  Park all processed payment vouchers on SAP accurately and in the same period.
  Complete the Fin30, Fin31, Fin32 forms, and the related journals for fixed assets reconciliation.
  Handle documents storage and records with InfoFort.
  Payroll paid through cash (cheques)
  Issue cheques for venues, operational claims, refunds,
  Handle purchase order and invoices for the Lawyer for all departments
  Confirm the cash collection and reconciliation is done against the payment summary report from Teaching Centre Management System TCMS

STANDARD MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education:
University degree in Business/Public Administration/Engineering, or other relevant fields relating to office management and administration.
Master degree/post-graduation studies will be considered as an added advantage.

Experience:
At least 5 years of professional experience with progressive responsibilities in the area of Administration is required.
Experience in administrative environment with highly recognized private sector and/or Public Sector including multinational, and/or International is also required.
Experience in dealing with Government Protocol Institutions would be an added advantage.
Experience in the engineering field (Civil/EEE) would be an added advantage.
Experience in providing direction and instruction to more junior staff members within area of expertise.

Language:
Fluency in both oral and written communication in both English and Arabic.

JOB PURPOSE
To contribute to daily planning and delivery of quality, customer-focused, value for money administrative services that enable staff in country/location operations to deliver food assistance to beneficiaries, in line with WFP's strategy.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES (not all-inclusive)

1. Contribute to and implement WFP country/regional plans, including administrative processes, aligned with regional and wider WFP strategies and policies to facilitate efficient and effective administration service.
2. Develop annual plans, contribute to longer term strategies and improvements to policies, systems and procedures to ensure services provided support WFP strategic objectives and are in compliance with corporate policies, standards, regulations and processes.
3. Carry out complex data analysis to provide management and clients with the accurate information and reports for efficient planning and decision-making.
4. Manage the existing resources in the area of responsibility (e.g. WFP managed facilities, assets and travel management,etc.) and estimate new requirements aiming at efficiency, cost-effectiveness and timeliness of operations and services.
5. Facilitate the compliance of the services provided with the corporate Occupational Safety and Health Policy and contribute to the provision of recommendations to the management on improvements/changes.
6. Support a culture of environmental sustainability throughout WFP by role modelling actions that drive sustainability in all administrative activities.
7. Guide and supervise more junior staff, acting as a point of referral and supporting them with more complex analysis and queries.
8. Build and maintain the partnership with WFP stakeholders, other UN agencies and local government offices.
9. Support the capacity building of WFP staff and partners through the organisation or design of trainings, work shops, daily interaction, etc. for efficient and effective delivery of food assistance to beneficiaries.
10. Follow standard emergency preparedness practices to ensure WFP is able to quickly respond and deploy food and needed resources to affected areas at the onset of the crisis.
