This incorporates the FRA licensed Custody & Clearing activities with the MCDR and EGX. The individual's primary job focus is to: develop a strong partnersip with the local securities depositary, exchange and regulators to maintain a deep understanding of local post trade environment and lobby for best market practice, engage prospects in coordination with the Client Management Team to grow the local Egypt business serve as a senior local relationship contact for existing clients in coordination with the Client management team KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Set strategic direction and implement execution of the Egypt Securities Services business, in conjunction with the Head of Securities Services Responsibilty for the P&L of the Egypt Secuirties Services business Manage the local custody office to the highest standards based on strong technical knowledge of local post-trade regulations and practices to structure Recruit, train, lead employees to encourage maximum performance and dedication. Maintain an in-depth understanding of local industry developments, ensuring the local business adapts to comply with changing regulation and client demand, in conjunction with the Product Development team Maintain strong relationships with the local securities depositary, exchange and regulators and lobby for change to increase efficiency of the local market. Represent Securities Services as the local Egypt market expert with with clients, industry associations, conferences and industry press Work closely with the Client Management Team, based in the UAE to develop Direct Custody & Clearing opportunities with key Global Custodian & Broker Dealer prospective clients. Maintain strong connections to with key local investor prospects, working closely with the Client Management team to help win new business. Act as local Securities Services relationship contact for existing Egypt clients, coordinating the client relationship management with the Client Management Team. Oversee and coordinate the local operational services with the Group Operations Hub based in Abu Dhabi to ensure optimal operating model. Ensure SLA's are in place and are adhered to through administration of KPIs. Oversee the successful conversion and transition of of pipeline deals. Manage the RFI/ RFPs clients Due Diligence visits Look to position FAB's Securities Services Fund Administration with local asset managers & Issuer Services products (Dividend Distribution Services, IPO Administration and Virtual AGM Administration) with local exchange / depositary and local issuing companies, in conjunction with the Product & Client Management teams. Establish and foster strong working relationships with key internal stake holders (e.g. GCF, CIB Coverage Teams, Group Operations, etc.). QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE: Minimum Qualification Bachelor's degree in finance / Business or related discipline. MBAand/or professional qualifications. Minimum Experience 10/15 years' relevant experience in the banking sector with at least 7 years in similar positions of progressively increasing managerial responsibilities in the senior function; Strategic thinker and agent for change; Industrial sector expertise is essential; Sound knowledge of compliance, legal/regulatory environments; Proven track record of delivery against financial objectives; Experience in building and managing teams of senior executives and executing against agreed blue-print; Strong influencing and coaching skills; Good interpersonal, motivation, resource management & marketing-orientated skills; Experience of handling large size corporate accounts and winning new mandates with them; To Apply
