Responsibilities will include (but not limited to) the following:
- Writing and understanding Microsoft SQL.
- Create data bases and data base objects such as tables and indexes.
- Analyzing data with standard statistical methods, interpreting the results, and providing written summary of data analyses
- Analysis of data ownership, enterprise wide data definitions, and monitoring of data quality
- Improving data quality by and for, presenting conclusions and designing solutions gained from analyzing data
- Sharing the knowledge of analysis techniques and data coding with other team members.
- Participating in ongoing decisions concerning data collections, methodology, and data analysis
- Setup, manage, and maintain SQL Server Reporting Services
- Assist with the design and construction of data warehouses, data marts, and business intelligence platforms
- Assist with synchronizing and migrating data and database objects between development, quality assurance, and production environments
- Ability to work as a part of a team as well as independently, when required
- Excellent communication skills - oral and written.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelors' degree from an accredited college in Computer Science/Information Systems, math, engineering or related technical field
- Microsoft Certification is a plus
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server prefer
- Experience with data analysis techniques and processes
- Experience with relational database design and development, business intelligence, data mining or statistics
- Knowledge of SSIS, SSAS, and SSRS
- Experience with data modeling techniques and tools
- Knowledge with Embarcadero a plus
- Must be able to show initiative and flexibility in a dynamic environment
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Experience implementing a Data Conversion solution is a plus
