Urgently hiring a #Materials Supervisor : Requirements: - High School diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred. - Minimum of ten years of experience in supply chain management (preferably in the offshore oil industry). - In depth knowledge of inventory systems and processes. Working knowledge of maintenance, purchasing, logistics and accounts payable systems and processes. - Ability to work in a demanding offshore based environment. - Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Must be able to communicate with all levels of management on drilling rigs, in shipyard projects and in an international shore based operation. - Strong leadership skills and an ability to coach, motivate and mentor others and develop their skills and knowledge. - Ability to work independently, handle multiple tasks and set priorities. - Attention to detail and the ability to plan ahead in accomplishing company goals and tasks. - Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, and functional knowledge of inventory and purchasing systems. - The ability to travel as required.
