Business banking and SME's senior credit officer and Relationship Managers Alexandria and Delta regions.

Main accountabilities and approximate time split

Accountability:

Credit Risk Management


 Assess customers business through the analysis of Business and Credit risks associated with the provision of the Bank's products and services to the customer.

 Develop high quality credit solutions with the view of obtaining fast credit approval from Credit teams

 Be the joint contact for credit management purposes for accountants, solicitors and other professionals

 Preparation of credit packages with paper attachments for recommendations to the Sanctioning authority.

 Responsible for managing financial information produced by customers.

 Monitor and Control quality of portfolio using triggers stipulated in credit approvals (where applicable) in line with policies and internal guidelines.

 Discussing with Sanctioner trigger events if they give cause for concern, advising the Relationship Manager simultaneously and propose appropriate strategies.

Accountability:

Business Risk Partnership



Time Split: 20-25%  Work in partnership with Relationship Managers on new and existing credit applications, providing guidance on credit appetite.

 Deliver service in line with agreed business needs.

 Work in partnership with colleagues and proactively anticipate, respond to and seek to exceed the expectations of customers.

 Attend customer meetings with the Relationship Manager if credit related issues are to be discussed/need to be resolved.

 Proactively contribute to embedding agreed change management initiatives in support of process and quality improvements, cost reductions.

 Support and contribute to specific industry focus as determined by the Corporate and Credit teams.

Accountability: Team Working

Time Split: 10-15%  Develop and maintain a close working relationship with Relationship Managers and Credit Managers.

 Support Relationship Managers in identifying training & development needs of Corporate managers & Assistants and undertake coaching as appropriate.

 Coach and develop new joiners & junior team members to ensure that aspired performance level is achieved.

Support the BB & SME Credit Head in delivering effective performance development for individuals within the team.

 

Technical skills / Competencies

Competencies:

• Strong analytical and technical skills

• Solid awareness of CCRS, core banking system and IT skills

• Strong Interpersonal skills, enabling the candidate to deal business partners, stakeholders & customers.

• Strong Communications skills, demonstrated both verbally (active participation in meetings) and in writing (preparing credit packages, reports and memos/emails)

• Presentation skills

• Negotiation skills

• Awareness of regulatory issues.

Knowledge, Expertise and Experience

Knowledge, Qualifications/ Experience:

Knowledge

• Strong Credit analysis & assessment skills acquired through training and credit courses attended by candidate, as well as sound experience in credit, in a similar role.

• Strong awareness of legislation affecting the bank and customers.

• Solid knowledge of credit policies and regulations.

Experience

Experience in a relevant job role for a minimum period of 2 years.

Description

Participate in the development of strategic plans and objectives of the company with the Director General and work on the implementation of marketing management plans to ensure the realization of the vision and objectives of the company.

7. Determine the human resources needs of the subordinate departments and identify the different levels of employment.
8. Follow-up evaluation of the performance of employees in the administration, and raise the performance of staff and improve their efficiency to ensure the operation of the work in the best way and an alternative to perform the various tasks
9. Contribute to planning and conducting market research in terms of marketing opportunities, competitors work, internal and external market conditions to develop an effective marketing strategy and identify opportunities to increase sales.
10. Develop and implement marketing programs to achieve the established goals of revenue, profitability and market share.
 

Qualifications
Bachelor of Business Administration or equivalent and preferably have a masters degree. Experience 7 years in marketing. Ability to develop and follow all new. Ability to observe and audit. Analytical skills to predict and identify trends and challenges Ability to think creatively and creatively. Ability to work within a team. Ability to lead and make decisions.
