 Staff Accountant
Responsibilities:
  • The Staff Accountant is responsible for assisting the Assistant Director of Finance in maintaining the general ledger and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Additionally, the Staff Accountant is responsible for supervising other areas within the Finance Department under the direction of the Assistant Director of Finance, including payroll, accounts payable, and general cashiering in accordance with all related local and corporate policies and procedures.
  • The Accounting office structure may vary and responsibilities will be adapted as required.
Requirements:
  • Two to five years experience as an Accounting Assistant Manager, preferably within a hotel
  • Excellent English level.

Key Accountabilities
To provide a high level of customer service at all times both internal and external, by being aware of the product categories and being able to assist and advise customers in a professional manner
As and when required, to operate the point of sales system.  To be aware of the procedures required for cash operation and to maintain a high level of accuracy in all transactions.
To actively learn the product uses and pluses of the range of goods in Homeworks , to be able to advise customers on the right product to meet their requirements and ensure increased revenue through add on sales.
To assist with the receiving and display of goods in accordance with the approved procedures when required to ensure products are available for customer purchase.
To comply with in store procedure with regard to pricing and ticketing to ensure that customers are aware of product prices and to protect the company against any loss related to incorrect pricing.
After adequate training to apply the "Homeworks Merchandising Principles" at all times ensuring a corporate imagine is achieved and that Homeworks  has the best possible looking stores in its product category. To be responsible for maintaining a clean and tidy store by initiating a cleaning programme for your assigned dept.
To actively participate in other events to drive sales and improve the operations of the business(inc  : Store Stock take, new store openings, promotional activities etc)


About You
Education: form of tertiary education
Minimum Experience and Knowledge:  1-2  years' experience in Retail or customer service industry

Main Purpose:
Responsible for analyzing and preparing work-documents, from taxes perspective for tax inspection purposes.
Responsibilities:
1.Prepare the accounting breakdown for the tax inspection based on both the financial statement and the Annual tax return.
2.Supervise the picking up procedures of the documents needed for the tax inspection.
3.Organize and file the inspection documents.
4.Prepare official correspondences to the Tax Authority.
5.Assist in writing the company's defence report to the Tax Authority.
6.Assist in preparing the annual tax return.
7.Supervise applying the taxes policies such as the tax archive policy.
8.Collect the certificates of the credit balance at the tax authority, in case of the company is subject to the withholding tax system.
9.Prepare the sheet of down payment policy at the tax authority in Oct., in case of the company prefers to participate in that system.


Job Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field.
Experience: 0-1 Year of experience in a similar field
Languages: Fair command of English language (Speaking, reading and writing)

Working Conditions:
Working Days: 5 Days/week [Sunday Till Thursday].

Tasks
Your main responsibilities in this role will include:

1)Strategy: Representing ABB as one key face to the Strategic Accounts. Supporting all ABB Divisions. Involving the main ABB stakeholders in the planning phases insures their buy-in for the implementation.

2)Business Opportunities: Strengthening the customer relationship through direct communications. Maintaining and promoting ABB high quality standards. Developing awareness to customer for all ABB products and service availability. Using ABB Packaging portfolio strategy (All ABB products to be offered in one package) as a good sales tool to reduce customer cost and risk. Building and retaining long lasting relationship with existing and new key players & Champions within the customer's organization. Then enhancing the relations to reach long term partnership. Ensuring ABB's early involvement in the project specifications.

3)Main Contacts: Multiple Customer Contacts at all levels, Account Team, Division or BU or LD and LBU Management, Sales Manager, Sales Engineer, Product Sales Specialist, Product Manager, Project Manager, Cross-functional Team. Product Marketing, Production Manager, Logistic Manager, Engineering Business environment.

4)Duties & Responsibilities: Developing, maintaining and managing personal or business relationships at all required levels (between ABB and the Customer).

5)Identify or capture in the Account Plan: Customer needs, Customer value chain, future direction, ABB opportunities, value creation for Customer, ABB required actions to meet Customer needs and secure the business.

6)Execute or deliver the Account Plan: Ideally exceeding the targets (working with ABB resources and Channels to capture potential at Customer).Building ABB relationship and influence with Customer at all levels. Driving ABB resources to serve Customer needs. Establish long-term ABB business planning with Customer. Securing highest Customer satisfaction. Deliver sustainable long-term ABB profitability with the Account. Managing Customer Complaint Resolution Process. Supporting ABB Team to secure business growth and profitability (e.g. cross functional teams, channel partners, supply management, finance, and service).Communicating Customer information across both the team and the ABB organization (including market and competitor trends).Directing communications & Coordination with the ABB Global Key Account Managers. Establishing Targets and KPI's to ensure fulfillment of ABB strategic objectives with the Customer.

7)Customer Focus: Fulfilling customer requirement is the main goal. Conducting customer satisfaction surveys to identify performance gaps and or opportunities. Identifying new solutions for clients. Build strong relationships with customers in order to prevent competitors of penetrating the relationships. Efficiently using of ABB Events for enhancing relations with customer and increase of sales portfolio.

8)Sales Focus: Using the ABB term (SWOT or Strength- Weakness – Opportunities - Strength) to analyze and update the strategy with the customer. Providing evaluation of the business climate and its effect on Sales Goals. Identify threats from competitors. Monitoring and reporting on product issues. Evaluate feeder factory performance and identify issues that may affect sales performance. Assisting all BU's in their plans and budget towards his key accounts.

9)Planning: Setting up Account Capture strategy for each project. Developing Account Plan. Implementing the account plan.

10)People Management: Setting consistent marketing skills and capabilities for the account team. Encouraging team work, ability to change or improve, adhering to ethics.

IT Help Desk Support Engineer
• Telephone support and/or shift hours mandatory
• Provide timely and professional technical support for all IT incidents received by phone or through the web self-service tool.
• Respond to all escalations on a timely manner in line with the Incident Handling Policy.
• Provide updates to the customers per the Incident Handling guidelines. Updates include managing updates notifications, Email and Telephone communication.
• Diagnose incidents utilizing administration tools or remote control utilities to troubleshoot PC, operating system or system incidents
• Document all troubleshooting and incident management actions via the electronic incident management system in a timely manner.
• Perform technical escalations in line with Incident Handling policy
• Ensure incidents are routed to the proper next level/organization as part of the incident management process
• Liaise with other relevant departments e.g. Office IT, Infrastructure, Security, Data Center, etc. to ensure all incidents are managed properly
• Maintain a good degree of technical knowledge of all Orange Business Services IT services and applications.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of the tools, systems, and processes required to provide quality customer support.
• To resolve by himself/herself most of the incidents relevant to the scope of expertise.
• Undertake any other reasonable task as assigned
