Senior Geophysist responsibilities:- Build an integrated subsurface description of the Nile Delta plays for future access in support of the Path to 2030
- Build, maintain, and influence external stakeholders (National Oil Companies, partners, regulators, contractors)
- Act as a facilitator and provide additional functional and specialist technical connections to the team, also work closely, present and gain alignment with partners and regulators
- Lead the Nile Delta exploration agenda - including fit-for-purpose basin understanding, rebuild/ refresh of the prospect inventory, prospect description and ranking, evaluation and application of appropriate predictive seismic technologies.
- Build and maintain relationships through technical integration across the North Africa Exploration and ResDev teams
- Lead bid rounds and farm-in/out activities
- Support the southwest Nile Delta Exploration Manager (and through to the Exploration Director) with planning activities and delivery of required documentation – for example work programmes, budgets and appropriate internal and external approvals.
- Provide high quality technical leadership and coaching

In this role, we have the following requirements:- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Geoscience discipline
- Specific corporate experience as representative with external stakeholders (National Oil Companies, partners, regulators, contractors)
- 20 years of experience in integration of exploration geophysics and geology
- Demonstrate good broad business acumen and impact beyond their own technical sphere
- Able to coach others, seek feedback and takes ownership of own development
- Self-sufficient in dealing with complexity and escalates by exception
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Arabic
