Job Title: Director, Corporate Banking

Location: Cairo, Egypt


Job Purpose:
To manage and grow large account portfolios and the client relationships for assigned portfolio; improve service quality levels and client interactions to constantly meet the objectives and achieve revenue targets, while maintaining client satisfaction and portfolio credit quality.

Key Accountabilities:

Client and Market Analysis
Participate in the financial analysis conducted on clients and their respective industries/ markets to identify potential opportunities and risks.
Client Relationship Management
Originate new business opportunities with target clients across banking products
Originate & cross sell banking products to achieve budget & business objectives of the team and bank
Develop Term Sheet, Information Memorandum, financial modelling, mandate letter…etc.
Examine & resolve credit, market and operational risk aspects of the transactions in collaboration with products and enablement units.
Update relevant management levels of business lines, head office and relevant product partners on client's business development, credit evolution and answer to their queries.
Pitch, review, negotiate and conclude deals.
Maintain the credit quality of the clients' relationships within the Portfolio to an acceptable level set by the Bank's management.
Prepare Account Plans for all key clients and ensure all clients' files /documents are maintained.
Submit credit reviews on time and ensure all credit risk inquiries from local and head office credit are satisfied.



Day-to-Day Activities

Perform the day-to-day administrative and transactional activities such as client calls, documentation follow up, updating pipeline, and any other activities in the unit/team to ensure continuity of work and the delivery of effective and high quality outputs.
Complete and follow up on KYC and compliance requirements in order to ensure consistency with the Bank's KYC and AML policies and regulatory requirements.
Maintain smooth coordination & good working relationship with product lines, credit, legal and other business units
Assist answering of inquiries from external regulatory bodies (internal auditing, CBE)
Adhere to process KPI's and, ORM, BCP & Internal Audit requirements
Comply with regulatory requirements.

Policies, Systems, Processes, and Procedures
Follow all relevant policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
MIS and Reports
Assist in the preparation of timely and accurate statements and reports to meet the unit's requirements, policies, and standards.

Key Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum Qualification
Bachelor's degree in Finance or related discipline
Master's degree in Business Administration / CFA is preferred
Credit Course is a must

Minimum Experience
8 years of experience in corporate banking or a similar area

- Search for candidates through online service providers, social networks and referrals to create
potential pool according to recruitment criteria.
- Screen CVs to select initial candidate for invitation to interview.
- Arrange interviews with potentials and create proper schedule to ensure meeting recruitment criteria and select potentials.
- Arrange for technical interview
- Running up annual performance appraisal process
ensures the compliance to the set time frames,
reviews and analyzes appraisal results and ensures
providing the feedback to HR Manager.
- Prepare training schedules & maintain training filling system and training e-library for the employees.
Maintain training filling system & training calendar.
- Search, plan and implement all the training programs and activities, associate with the staff training needs.
- handling all organization chart
Job Qualifications / skills:
-BA/BSc degree is a must.
-2 to 5 years of experience in the same field is a must, preferably in industrial field.
-Excellent command of English language.
-HR Certificates will be a plus.
