Tasks:

Your main responsibilities in this role will include:

1. Market Analysis
• Contributing to update market intelligence on customers' structure and knowledge, potential, opportunities, competition, price levels, macro and micro economics.

2. Marketing
• Developing business through market research and early identification of opportunities.
• Using BU approved sales tool to track and monitor future opportunities.

3. Sales activities

Requirements:

Internal Auditor
Collect information needed by the Audit Sr. Supervisor to obtain an understanding of the internal control structure for area under audit.

Participate in the implementation of audit programs by obtaining, analyzing and appraising data to assist the Audit Sr. Supervisor in making an objective opinion on the adequacy and effectiveness of the established systems and the personnel efficiency and quality of performance in carrying out assigned responsibilities.

Prepare audit working papers needed for the preparation of audit reports.

Job Recuirments:

Interior Designer


The Interior Designer works with the functional presentation of the IKEA product range in the Furniture Showroom. All designing, presentations and communications should be as per IKEA standards.
Commercial
  • Assist in planning in-house projects and in preparing drawings and perspectives accordingly to IKEA Concept.
  • Implement and maintain all interiors and displays in the showroom.
  • Conduct daily inspection of the showroom and ensure that damages are corrected immediately.
  • Support the planning and implementation of the store commercial calendar.
  • Maintain all areas in the store in accordance to IKEA standards.
  • Follow IKEA manuals to produce functional home furnishing solutions within the store.
Operational:
  • Get involved in other projects relating to activities that are carried out in the store from time to time. This may include rebuilding business area, based on feedback from range relating to changed priorities, or poor performance of the area.
  • Assist Visual Merchandisers as and when required, in projects or activities that are planned for the store.
Customers:
  • Show customers the extension of the range coordination, and various ideas and proposals for different rooms in the house, living and realistic, complete with accessories.
  • Plan and decorate the room sets to be inspirational for the customers and offer home furnishing solutions.
  • Assist the customer with solutions for their homes.
The Interior Designer will report to the Interior Design Manager and will be working out of the IKEA office space in Cairo, Egypt.

Retail Sales Representative

Commercial
  • Promote the sales of products by spotting and seizing sales opportunities, offering alternatives solutions to problems and suggesting add on sales in order to achieve the established sales target.
  • Suggest means of sale improvement to his supervisor as well as determining "slow moving" or "non-selling" items and suggesting sales action.
  • Maintain a fully display of products via merchandising methods as laid down by the company.
  • Remain aware of developments in the local market by being attentive, to information given by customers, to advertising and promotions in the media and also by making scheduled market visits so as to be able to maintain the company's competitive advantage and to properly advise customers.
  • Keep an update on changes in the company's products range such as new items or changes in existing items as well as informing the Sales Manager of any customer's problems/comments on the product range or gaps in the range.

Operational
  • Conduct a daily detailed inspection of his assigned area so as to review the availability and positioning of price labels, product information tags and other communication media.
  • Review daily stock level on all products in his assigned area and recommends orders to the Shopkeeper.
  • Coordinates with Procurement Executive for information pertaining to stocks in his assigned area.

Customers
  • Meet the needs of customers by being approaching, understanding and sensitive to diverse customers, by initiating and developing effective working relationships with the customer and by establishing trust and confidence with the customers.
  • Determine the customers' requirements and assist them in their orders
  • Maintain contact and advising customers on news or recently received items of customer's interest or which have been reserved as well as following up on quotations sent in an effort to convert to actual sales.
  • Provide the highest level of Customer Service by being customer oriented.
