Technical Support Engineer
Provide technical point of contact for customers' incidents.
Owns the resolution responsibility of the reported customer incidents either solely or with the help/intervention of other teams.
Diagnose fault-related incidents by effectively utilizing software diagnostics and other network/product utility programs.
Document all troubleshooting and incident management actions via the electronic incident management system in a timely manner.
Perform technical escalations to different Problem Management teams in line with company procedure and case/incident excellence.
Perform and own technical management escalations in line with company procedure and case excellence policy.
Obtain and document data integrity issues and ensure getting valid Reason for Outage (RFO) when applicable and to note it in detail and gain agreement to incident closure by customer or Service desk representative

 Technical Service Representative

Responsibility

- Delivers training to customers on the use and application of the company products, equipment and documentation both on-site at the customer's location and within the training center.
- Conducts demonstrations of products and transfers the knowledge on AkzoNobel processes as well as on technical problem solving to the customers;
- Performs technical scans and audits at designated customers.

- Delivers periodical progress reports, proactively submits information regarding trends within the market and provides recommendations regarding the improvements in the approach to the marketplace.
- Assists sales departments in the implementation of sales strategies and within key phases of the sales process, giving technical expert knowledge to their prospects.
- Promotes the positive company image and develops long-term relations with customers.
- Advises to the upper management on training types, recruits participants for the relevant technical courses and gains commitment for customer attendance.
- Gets familiar with all the applicable corporate as well as site policies/procedures with regard to personal conduct/HSE standards and acts in compliance with all their regulations.

Job requirements/Candidate profile

Import Coordinator - Egypt
Key Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for on time customs clearance for Trade and Non-trade products as per the agreed timelines and cost effective
  • Work proactively, closely and in harmonization with the different Customs Clearing agents (Brokers) for the completion of the Egyptian customs authority requirements.
  • Responsible for coordination and follow ups with the 3PL on providing the Bill of Lading, and with the Forwarder on providing the Shipments documents (Factory invoices, Packing List and Certificates of Origin), and with the Finance Department on the issuance of the form 4.
  • Communicates and coordinates the endorsement of the Commercial Invoice with the respective Chamber of Commerce
  • Monitor the shipments customs releases with the customs clearance agent (Broker) and DC for incoming under inspection or final released shipments
  • Ensures that all Inbound shipments are posted in the SAP
  • Managing customs deposits and advance payments with clearing agents in collaboration with the finance department
  • Implement controls and ensures that all required shipment processes and documentations from 3PL, factories, banks, customs & subsidiaries are fully met on timely basis.
  • Supports and acts as backup to the inbound specialist for reporting and studies
  • Assist in updating and modifying the shipping instruction and global SOP by providing the changes in customs clearance processes, decrees and local Egyptian regulations that could impact the full inbound cycle.
  • Reporting all the incidents that might be faced with the global team to make sure to avoid them in the future.
