This includes batch manufacturing and packaging documents, specifications, SOPs and bills of materials. Ensure proper sampling of intermediate, bulk and finished product batches for routine testing, validation practices and cleaning samples. Follow up application of OQ measures in production areas and check compliance of in-process testing. Ensure application of OQ measures during validation batches and planned changes. Monitor calibration of production equipment and IPC testing instruments. Review batch related documentation for completeness, correctness and compliance to approved standards. Report any observed incidents during routine production and follow up its correction and corrective action. Ensure that GMP Standards are followed properly in the Warehouse, Dispensing and manufacturing areas and during the manufacturing and packaging processes. Handle deviations, complaints and OOS & OOT in coordination with area owners and ensure implementation of CAPA and closure within required timeline. Team member in L1 and provide Quality inputs in CCRs. Support EHS & GPS implementation in managing different activities. Ensure identification and rejection of non-conforming materials/products according to GMP standards. Basic Qualifications: University graduate at the Faculty of pharmacy A minimum of one-year experience in similar field Up to date knowledge of current GMP, EDA Regulatory requirements, GSK QMS System. Excellent documentation and report writing skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Familiar with IQ, OQ, PQ, facility, utilities, Equipment and Strong experiences in cGMP/GLP compliance activities. Good command of English (spoken and written) Good Computer and communication skills (Word and Excel) Knowledge of EHS and GMP requirements Preferred Qualifications: Self-motivation, empowerment and adaptation to business changes. Contribute to the policy dialogue and strategic communication with counterparts on environment and natural resources management with a strong focus on pollution management, blue economy and climate change. Lead the development and implementation of pollution management (water pollution, waste and watershed management) lending operations, technical assistance or analytical work, including leading in preparation and implementation support missions. Support and/or lead the design/preparation and supervision of tasks and/or components as a technical expert and in collaboration with partner agencies and donors. This also includes generating 'think pieces' and 'best practice' papers; handling technical, institutional and program implementation issues in the environment sector; supporting the interface with the Government and agencies on environmental issues. Provide strategic technical assistance in support of client's needs to improve capacity for pollution management, solid waste management, blue economy, climate change as well as broader environmental management issues. Support the preparation of reports and strategy papers including the supervision, coordination and quality control of consultant reports. Contribute to analyzing and disseminating lessons learned and best practices from specific Bank projects for research, knowledge and learning purposes. Selection Criteria Advanced degree (PhD or Masters) in environmental engineering, civil engineering, environmental science, natural resource management, climate change, marine and coastal zone management, fisheries, environmental or civil engineering from a recognized university. A minimum of 8 years of relevant full-time professional experience in environmental engineering or related field, with a sustained record of achieving high quality substantive results, in pollution control, environmental management and related capacity assessments and institutional strengthening measures. A minimum of 3 years of track record in strategic engagement experience with senior level policy makers (director general level at government ministry or higher) is required. Strong technical skills in the areas of pollution control, hazardous and non-hazardous waste management, environment and natural resources management, climate change and the blue economy. Demonstrated track record in project management in managing large and complex operations/ operational skills; familiarity with Bank procedures would be an advantage. Demonstrated experience in designing and supervising operation of facilities such as landfills, dumpsites, wastewater treatment plants, etc. is desired. Good understanding of the multidimension of the blue economy including fisheries is a plus. Good knowledge of environmental legislation, regulatory and institutional arrangements in MENA countries in general and that of Egypt in particular. Sound knowledge of United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, and Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change GHG accounting methodologies, or similar standards, is important. Ability to build and sustain key stakeholder relationships with government and other key stakeholders; and to integrate divergent viewpoints of multiple external and internal stakeholders into a coherent project/program/strategy. A proven track record working with a wide range of stakeholders, NGOs, international organizations, development partners and/or with the government.
