KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- He will also act on assigned tasks in SW projects assigned to him. This will include scoping, alternatives validation, testing and post-implementation validation.
- As a team member, this role will also handle, internal IT & business communications effectively.
- This position requires response and issue resolution during nights and weekends as necessary to meet business needs.
- Day to day issues support and align the business requirements
- Act on incidents that service Desk is unable to do so independently.
- Escalate incidents to SW vendors and provide recreation scenarios as well as proposed solutions that ensure service continuity over the E-channels systems. Follow up delivery of incident/ problem solutions.
- Testing/ verifying solutions provided by vendor side. Build/ upgrade known issues.
- Participate in new application testing & deployment. Sanity checks and technical validation of newly delivered releases/ batches of banking SW before handing them over to UAT
- Document, and track, case histories, issues, and actionable steps taken
- Perform software research, testing, and recommendations when needed
- Handle system development of in house developed systems in line with bank agreed system architecture and development tools and following quality standards.
- Review of CRs issues to vendor side from the technical and system perspective and to validate included man/days.
And any other assigned tasks.
- As a Subject Expert in the applications he will also play a significant role in projects as needed. This will include business analysis, scoping, alternatives validation, effort sizing, testing and post-implementation validation.
- Supports a project delivery point of view & Day to day issues support and align the business requirements.
- Act on incidents that service Desk is unable to do so independently.
- Escalate incidents to SW vendors and provide recreation scenarios as well as proposed solutions that ensure service continuity over the banking systems. Follow up delivery of incident/ problem solutions.
- Respond to requests and inquiries from business users and change management team for system changes and verify whether it can be done using local resources or thru vendor side.
- Participate in new application testing & deployment. Sanity checks and technical validation of newly delivered releases/ batches of banking SW before handing them over to UAT
- Document, and track, case histories, issues, and actionable steps taken
- Improve documentation of application services policies and procedures related to his area.
- Perform software research, testing, and recommendations when needed
- Help in building system requirements and RFP for new solutions.
- Review of CRs issues to vendor side from the technical and system perspective and to validate effort estimation and technical solutions provided.
- Handle system analysis & design of in house developed systems as well as Development in line with bank agreed system architecture and development tools and following quality standards.
- Build troubleshooting guides for SW systems in hand and perform on the job training for service desk teams to act as 1st line support and mentor Jr Application specialists
- Recommend changes to policies, procedures, systems and products to add value to ADIB service offering.
- Handling Vendors, internal IT & business communications effectively.
- Resolution during nights and weekends as necessary to meet business needs.
And any other assigned tasks. Minimum Qualifications:
- B.sc Computer science, computer engineering or BA
- Analyst : 2-4 years of experience in similar field.
- Sr Analyst: Min 5 year experience in the same field.
- Have previous experience working on banking applications support role or a large scale banking system implementations and troubleshooting.
