Sales Manager

Your responsibilities

  • Strategy: Creating, planning and implementing the marketing and sales strategy for the assigned area in accordance with the global marketing and sales strategy, and budget and efficiency targets.
  • Targets: Establishing marketing and sales targets and ensuring their achievement through regular oversight and defining and implementing of improvement plans as needed.
  • Sales activities: Achieving assigned order intake, margin and related objectives for the entire product portfolio. Evaluating potential new and existing customers and their needs and leading team in a proactive post-sales approach with a focus on solutions.
  • Marketing activities: Taking responsibilities for the product marketing, industry, segment marketing and strategic and tactical marketing plan to support the relevant organization. Oversees market, competitive analysis and market segment definition activities, ensuring the market is monitored by developing and maintaining efficient marketing tools.
  • Customer relations and satisfaction: Developing relationships with key customers and other decision makers. Planning and implementing customer surveys, analyzing and acting on the results in order to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Volume, profit, price and cost: Identifying, monitoring, maintaining and exceeding the sales market price levels, evaluating pricing impact on the results. Ensuring achievement of sales volume and product mix targets by setting appropriate price and margin for individual sales opportunities. Managing ongoing costs.
  • Risk: Monitoring client financial status and reports any changes regarding risk to inform relevant internal partner teams. Responsible for identifying and managing risks relating to contract agreements and pricing across customers or channels.
  • Administration: Overseeing the marketing and sales processes and all relevant training and development plans, actions and programs.
  • People leadership and development: Ensuring (with HR Manager support) that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed. Coaching, motivating and developing direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies. Driving and ensuring know-how sharing and cross-collaboration.

Your background

  • A bachelor's degree in engineering with same industry experience. MBA in Business Management will be a plus.
  • 10—15 years of experience in Business Development or Marketing/Sales Management.
  • Hands-on experience in Operations Management.
  • Knowledge of North & Francophone Africa Power markets.
  • Ability to travel upto 50%.
  • Proven skills to working in multi-cultural environment and customer focus.
  • Proficiency in both spoken & written French & English language is required.

Customer Service Specialist
Job Purpose:
  • Responsible for the management and supply of orders for assigned markets ensuring optimal product flow and timely supply of products to distributors, executed through the Intercompany Operations (IO) Supply Model.
  • Coordinate monthly & weekly estimates for assigned markets.
  • Collaborate with demand planners, IO customer service, commercial and distributors to execute order management in-line with customer expectation.
  • Ensure business requirements are met through operational execution of the customer service / order management / O2C functions.
  • Ensure full compliance to internal financial controls and processes with regards to O2C and work to minimize or eliminate any identified financial controls risks, and support O2C internal & external audits.  
  • Manage customer escalations as well as internal and external communication regarding customer delivery coordination.
  • Document and optimize customer service and order management processes based on knowledge and expertise of local market requirements and internal Pfizer business processes.

Customer Service
  • Maintain good communication and manage relationships with internal customers (e.g. finance, regulatory, commercial) to ensure processes are designed and executed to meet internal compliance requirements and business needs in the most efficient and effective manner. 
  • Ensure customer engagement for external customers / distributors, holding periodic customer review meetings as needed. 
  • Ensure routine and meaningful communication with Intercompany Operations, attending business reviews, providing performance feedback, executing day to day operations, and recommending process improvements.
  • Ensure on-time delivery to customers and proactive communication of expected delivery dates.
  • Responsible for customer claims management (expiry, damage, complaints, etc) following Pfizer policies.
  • Responsible for customer service operations within East and West Africa countries including Kenya, Ethiopia, Nigeria, Ghana and French West Africa (FWA).
  • Responsible for coordination of all documents for importation and letter of credit requirements.

Warehouse Storekeeper

1. JOB PURPOSE:
He performs the assigned warehouse transactions and maintains stock keeping according to the service level agreement (SLA) in effective and efficient way.

2- JOB PURPOSE:

1- Control receipt of the stock keeping unit (SKU's).
2- Ensure storing SKU's appropriately emphasizing on accessibility and safety for both people and items.
3- Control issuance of SKU's according to the issue order from the item owner.
4- Record the assigned transaction and or review recorded transactions inbound and outbound in the inventory records/system online base and maintain perfect documentation files.
5- Control WH operational tasks in terms of warehouse transactions; image; tidiness, safety and security and cooperate with other concerned dept.
6- Review and/or engages in performing physical cycle count on SKU's and report the result.
7- Review and/or engages in preparing for the semi-annual or annual physical count.
9- Control packing operations and ensure achieving packing plan.
10- Monitor and manage the warehouse store area to ensure better utilization of space.
11- Ensure delivering maximum customer experience. 100% 100% § As per SLA
